The Shire of Lockhart was established all the way back in 1906. Our beautiful town has seen many ups and downs over it's long life, alongside all the other beautiful, regional towns of our fair country.

Dispite being small in size, Lockhart has a lot to offer, being so close to other cities and towns such as Narrandera, Albury, Wagga, Urana, and the Rock. Being so central isn't our town's only selling point though. Our annual agricultural show is an amazing event with fun, laughter, family and community. It is a place where all of Lockhart and surrounds comes together the showcase their wares, eat, drink, laugh and play. 

At our show, there is something for everyone! Horses and dogs are shown and turned out in their best to compete. Our flowers, baking, and other produce bring the locals in for a look and, if we're lucky, a taste of the best our town has to offer. And in our poultry pavilion, you'll find a wide range of ducks and chickens to watch and admire, especially the cute chicks that sometimes make an appearance! 

Every year we have an amazing turnout of food vendors as well, where you'll be able to sample some of what the Riverina has to offer with it's food! Showbags, games, and entertaining shows for all ages feature at our show.

Our show society is hosting a Christmas special in the form of a Street Stall. Come down and see our cakes and treats, and enter our raffle for some amazing prizes and possible christmas presents for that special someone!
